During the period between November 1988 and August 1992, Mr. Peh was a bank trainee officer in the personnel department, then worked as a securities officer at the custodian service department and was subsequently promoted to the position of account manager in the corporate banking department of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited in Singapore. Mr. Peh worked as an investment analyst in Fidelity Investments Management (H.K.) Ltd. in Singapore and Hong Kong specializing in investment management from August 1994 to July 1996. During the periods of February 1997 to January 1998 and [·] 1998 to September 1999, Mr. Peh worked as an established salesman at Schroders Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd and an associate director of Indosuez W.I. Carr Securities (S) Pte Ltd, respectively, where he specialized in institutional equity sales. From October 1999 to [·], he was an associate director at HSBC Securities (Singapore) Pte Limited specializing in institutional equity sales. From April 2002 to June 2006, Mr. Peh was the head of institutional sales of Cazenove & Co. (Singapore) Pte Limited. He was also appointed as an executive director of Cazenove & Co. (Singapore) Pte Limited in November 2003 and his last position with such company was a director and the head of equities in Singapore. Since November 2006, Mr. Peh has been a director of Legacy Wealth Partners Pty Ltd specializing in private wealth management.

Mr. Peh received a bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the National University of Singapore in 1987 and received a master's degree in Business Administration from the London Business School of University of London in 1994. Mr. Peh has been admitted as a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2011 and is also a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He has been a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Investment Analysts since 1996.
