Larry (Zhe Fu) LAI – Practising solicitor in Australia and member of CPA Australia
obtained his LLB in China, used to be a law teacher, a practising solicitor and barrister, and the board secretary and the director of the department of legal and compliance of China Commodity Future Exchange. After 2000, studied in Australia and earned his degrees of Master of Accounting and Juris Doctor. Then worked for PwC China as Forensic Service Manager, for UBS China as client vetting and anti-money laundry director and for JP Morgan Chase Bank (China) Co. Ltd. as Board Secretary. In 2015, became a practising solicitor in Queensland, Australia.
In years, having been paying attention to the theory and practice of corporate governance, hope through my efforts to let more people to understand the importance of the sound and effective corporate governance structure and following good corporate governance principles in protecting, checking and balancing the legitimate rights and interests of all stakeholders, such as shareholders, management and investors and in promoting the heathy development of the capital market.
